Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's kids - was born at Woodland Hills, California in the year 1956. Her father worked as a teacher and her mother was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two older brothers. McCormick was a talented singer and performer from the age of 6. She put on shows with puppets to entertain her friends. At the age 6years old, she won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her and asked if the actress would be looking to pursue a career in show business. McCormick's first job as a professional was in 1964, which was when she appeared in a TV commercial for Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. In the following year, she starred in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was later cast in the show Wind It Up And It is Broken on stage at La Jolla Playhouse.
