Lesley Ann Brandt was a South Africa actress and model born on the 2nd of December, 1981. Her most notable performances are on television and films. Having started her acting career through the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut was with her second role, playing Naevia in the historical drama series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Since then, the actress has been featured in numerous TV series, such as that of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Brandt plays the role Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Her move to Auckland with her family when she reached her twenties. Her professional career began when she was model for print ads and commercial ads. Before she became a renowned model, she worked as a salesperson for retail and as a consultant in recruitment for information technology. Her first major appearance came in 2021 as she played the role of a slave woman Naevia on the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. She co-starred alongside actor Craig Parker in three different television shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she began playing the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen in Lucifer, the Netflix successful series Lucifer. Her role in Lucifer is her most famous role that she has played to date. She co-stars on the show with Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
